What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers. Designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry, it helps you become a safer driver. Completion of Pass Plus ensures that you are eligible for discounts offered from most major insurance companies. Driver Training North East offer training in the 6 modules including:

Town driving

Rush hour traffic, complicated junctions and traffic systems can make driving in a town a daunting experience: With Driver Training North East you can learn the skills to drive safely and confidently in towns and deal with these situations and more

All-weather driving

Learn to drive safely in all weather conditions:rain, fog, snow and ice.

Driving out of town

Driving out of town introduces new hazard including sharp bends, potholes, farm vehicles and animals in the road.

Night driving

This module will allow you to learn to deal with every aspect of night driving, including: dazzle, judging distance and speed, using your lights correctly and more.

Driving on dual carriageways

In this module you will learn to drive safely on fast, multi-lane roads, lane discipline, increase vital skills of observation, concentration skills and anticipation.

Driving on Motorways

Learn how to drive on motorways safely and correctly including how to enter and exit motorways safely
